“Developing the next generation of ministry leaders through hand-ons experience and personal development”
• The residency is a 2-4 year program designed for emerging leaders who feel called to vocational church ministry. We want to help develop the future pastors, teachers, and ministry directors by giving them a place to grow and learn through hands-on ministry experience and intentional personal development. We believe that these experiences will develop future leaders for a lifetime of ministry significance.
• Residents apply to serve in a specific ministry of the church; college, youth, worship, creative, children’s, executive, etc. As a resident, you will receive hands-on experience and training in this specific ministry area, as well as being mentored by a Doxology staff member that leads your area. You will also pursue personal ministry relationships within the church body and have the opportunity to experience church-wide ministry opportunities such as baptisms, hospital visits, counseling, performing weddings, and developing teaching skills.

Baptism is an external celebration of a change that has happened in you. When you connect with Christ, you have a new identity in Christ and you are forgiven from sin and its eternal results. The image of baptism connects you with the death and resurrection of Christ, and the water represents the “washing away” of your sins as you trusted Christ. In baptism, you have the opportunity to publicly express your commitment to Christ and share with others the change that He has brought about in your life. Ready to take that step? Sunday Dropoff
For this Christmas Season, one of our Local Mobilization serving opportunities at Doxology, we will be partnering with South Hills Elementary and YoungLives again to bring Christmas gifts to families who might not otherwise have a Christmas. On Sunday, November 24th, we will have a table set up for you to come by and pick up a Wishlist for a family. The Wishlist will have clothing sizes, specific needs, and a few items that are wanted by the children. We are hoping to limit the spending to approximately $100. You can bring the gifts unwrapped to Doxology, bundled together with your family’s # on the gifts on Sunday, December 8th to the same area that you picked up the Wishlist from.

College students, needing to prepare for finals? Join us for a day of quiet study rooms, fast wifi, free food, and puppies, massages, tournaments, and more. . (No registration required - just show up and attend!) Our heart is to see new students come through and have a place they feel welcome as well as to give our current students a place they can celebrate the end of the year & study for exams.
