Eikon is a community of young adults being transformed by Christ to be a catalyst for changing lives. We do this by meeting regularly in community groups, bible classes, fellowship events and service opportunities. If you are single and in your 30’s- early 40’s and looking for a place to belong, we would love to have you join us!You can stop by the Next Steps area in the lobby on a Sunday morning and they can point you in the right direction.
We were made to belong. We each have a longing and void that can only be filled when we experience community. In the New Testament we see the followers of Jesus living in close fellowship, generously sharing what they had, and eagerly serving one another. It was a beautiful picture of the community that God has designed for us to experience. If we are honest, it can be a challenge to find that type of community. Isolation is too often the norm for those who are single working professionals. We envision a day when our ministry would provide that type of community to singles throughout SW Fort Worth so that they each can experience fellowship with a group who loves God, loves each other, and loves their city.
Events:
- Monthly Crowded House Fellowship- Eikon gathers once a month as a large group to focus on growing our relationship with Christ as well as each other. This year we are sharing “our stories” within the group to tell how Jesus has, and continues to work in the life of each individual of Eikon
- Labor Day, September 2- Celebrate Labor Day as we cookout, cool off with a slip n slide, and enjoy time around the campfire together.
- Ladies Event, October 12- Join the women of Eikon for a fun afternoon of candle making and fellowship
- Fall Retreat, October 25-27- Eikon is headed out to Glen Rose, TX for a few days of fellowship and time away from the busyness of life. The weekend will be filled with devotions, food, games, campfire, and time together. Cost is $65/person
- Halloween Party, October 31- An excuse to get dressed up and hang out with friends! Join us for food, a fire pit, and a pumpkin carving contest.
- Friendsgiving, November 10- Every year Eikon gathers at Doxology to share a meal at one large table together. We are thankful for the fellowship and family we have in Eikon and always enjoy reflecting on that over some good food!
- Christmas Party, December 8- The Eikon Christmas party is always a highlight of the year! Time spent together, cookie decorating contest, and of course, good food.

In the New Testament we see the followers of Jesus living in close fellowship, generously sharing what they had, and eagerly serving one another. It was a beautiful picture of the community that God has designed for us to experience. We dream of a church where everyone can experience that kind of belonging, support and spiritual growth in community groups. We envision a time when there is a Community Group in every neighborhood in Fort Worth, so that every person in our city would live within walking distance of a group of people who love God, love each other, and love their neighbors. So whether you are interested in joining a group, or would be willing to host a group we would love to connect and help you find that place to belong here at Doxology.

Baptism is an external celebration of a change that has happened in you. When you connect with Christ, you have a new identity in Christ and you are forgiven from sin and its eternal results. The image of baptism connects you with the death and resurrection of Christ, and the water represents the “washing away” of your sins as you trusted Christ. In baptism, you have the opportunity to publicly express your commitment to Christ and share with others the change that He has brought about in your life. Ready to take that step? Use the Connection Card link and check "I want to get baptized."
