The Boydstun Family

For Reid and Blair Boydstun, Doxology has been home for a long time... and that long, steady legacy of faith has shaped their family in lasting ways. Over the years, they’ve been surrounded by a multi-generational community that showed up with grace, patience, and encouragement in every season. It’s the kind of environment where faith is formed slowly and deeply, where the goodness and grace of Jesus don’t just get talked about, but lived out... and where their own kids were shaped by people who consistently invested in them.
One of the clearest examples of that legacy came through The Chapel at Arbor Lawn. When that expansion was first imagined, Reid remembers thinking about how the space might one day serve his own family... perhaps even hosting his funeral someday. What followed, though, was far bigger than any one family. The Chapel became the home of Doxology Español, opening the door for Spanish-speaking neighbors to worship, pray, and encounter the gospel in their heart language. What started as a practical investment became a powerful reminder that God often uses faithfulness in one season to bless people far beyond what we can see at the time.
Now, as Doxology looks ahead, the Boydstuns see that same pattern continuing through Doxology Alliance. Standing on the land in North Fort Worth... currently empty, but secured and ready... they’re filled with anticipation for what God will do as Alliance places permanent roots in a growing community. New neighborhoods are forming, families are searching for belonging, and the opportunity to saturate that part of our city with the hope of Jesus is right in front of us.
For Reid and Blair, Kingdom Come is a chance to say yes to the next chapter of that story. It’s a commitment to seeing the goodness and grace of Jesus rule over our hearts today, while trusting God to use those yeses to shape a legacy, saturate a city, and send His movement from neighborhoods to the nations. Their story is a reminder that what God has done before gives us confidence in what He will do next... and that Kingdom Come is an invitation to invest faithfully in what He’s already preparing.
