What is Parent/Child Dedication?
Parent/Child dedication is a time for Parents to publicly commit to raising their child to know and love the Lord. It is also a time for their church family to commit to praying and coming alongside parents in their effort to disciple their children to know Jesus.
Do I have to be a member to dedicate my child?
While membership is not a requirement to dedicate your child, we do find parent dedication is more meaningful to the family when they are making their commitment in a place they consider "home." For this reason, we encourage parents to evaluate whether or not they plan to pursue membership prior to participating in dedication.
Can my family attend?
Absolutely! The more, the merrier!
Parent Dedication is a celebration of the gift of your child. With this gift comes responsibility and a challenge to honor God in your own life. His plan for you is a growing, developing relationship with Him that is modeled for your child so that they can see, understand, and also develop a relationship with Christ. The Parent Dedication service is also a time for your church family to commit to partnering with you. Parent dedication is a commitment to this responsibility and challenge to honor God in raising your child to know and love Him.

This series marks the midpoint of our two-year Kingdom Come discipleship journey. Returning to the Parable of the Soils, we’ll focus particularly on the disconnected heart and Jesus’ invitation to deeper relationship with the people God has placed around us. Kingdom Come is an invitation for all of us to engage Jesus' invitation to allow His goodness and grace to increasingly rule every area of our hearts so that good news multiplies from every heart and every home; beginning with ours.

This is a unique opportunity for all of our Doxology Congregations (Southwest, Alliance & Español) to come together under one roof for a time of celebration and worship through song and for a time praying for our church, city and nation.
