Parents! Is your child asking you more questions about following Jesus? Or eagerly expressing interest in being baptized? This is the class for you and your child! Come join us for donuts, Sunday April 14 during the 10:30 a.m. service. We will talk through salvation, baptism, and what it looks like to share their faith with others. Looking forward to seeing you there! Embark is specifically designed for Elementary age kids. What is Embark?
Embark is a one hour Kids Baptism class at Doxology. It is specifically designed for parents to attend with their kids. During our time together, we will facilitate parent/child discussion on salvation, baptism, and what it looks like to share our faith with others.
What age does my child have to be in order to attend an Embark class?
While there is no age requirement, Embark was written and designed with Elementary-age kids in mind. If your child is younger than 1st grade, we recommend talking to a member of our Kids Ministry team before attending a class.
Does my child have to get baptized after attending Embark?
No! Baptism is a big step - one we want to make sure a child is 100% ready for. Embark is just a tool to help parents answer questions and start conversations about salvation, faith, and baptism. If you have questions about whether or not Embark is the right next step for your child, feel free to contact the Kids Ministry team at kids@doxology.church.

Baptism is an external celebration of a change that has happened in you. When you connect with Christ, you have a new identity in Christ and you are forgiven from sin and its eternal results. The image of baptism connects you with the death and resurrection of Christ, and the water represents the “washing away” of your sins as you trusted Christ. In baptism, you have the opportunity to publicly express your commitment to Christ and share with others the change that He has brought about in your life. Ready to take that step? For this Christmas Season, one of our Local Mobilization serving opportunities at Doxology, we will be partnering with South Hills Elementary and YoungLives again to bring Christmas gifts to families who might not otherwise have a Christmas. On Sunday, November 24th, we will have a table set up for you to come by and pick up a Wishlist for a family. The Wishlist will have clothing sizes, specific needs, and a few items that are wanted by the children. We are hoping to limit the spending to approximately $100. You can bring the gifts unwrapped to Doxology, bundled together with your family’s # on the gifts on Sunday, December 8th to the same area that you picked up the Wishlist from.

College students, needing to prepare for finals? Join us for a day of quiet study rooms, fast wifi, free food, and puppies, massages, tournaments, and more. . (No registration required - just show up and attend!) Our heart is to see new students come through and have a place they feel welcome as well as to give our current students a place they can celebrate the end of the year & study for exams.
